DIOR SPEC

Description: When I was asked to shoot a Dior spec, I immediately thought about how narrow the idea of femininity can be—especially within East Asian beauty standards. Through cosplay—where I sometimes portray male anime protagonists—I’ve learned that beauty and gender are far more fluid than the industry often suggests. This shoot reframes the Dior muse as something else entirely: a woman who defines femininity and power for herself.
DAWN OF THE UNIVERSE: THE BIG BANG
Role: Photographer / Creative Direction
Description: This conceptual editorial imagines the Big Bang not just as the birth of the universe, but as the birth of a new vision of beauty.
The project intentionally centers models whose features are rarely represented in traditional beauty campaigns.
At its core, the project reflects a belief shaped by my own experience as a model: beauty does not come from conforming to rigid ideals. With the right lighting, styling, and creative vision, photography has the power to reveal the beauty that already exists within a person. Through this work, I hope to inspire a deeper appreciation for diversity and remind viewers to embrace the features that make us different. When artists come together to celebrate that unique individuality, the result can be something truly breathtaking.
